Dolomites South Tyrol
The Dolomites South Tyrol are located in the south-eastern part of South Tyrol and characterize its landscapes thanks to their imposing peaks. These wonderful mountains, declared “UNESCO World Heritage” in 2009 are a true paradise for skiers, snowboarders, hikers and climbers. The phenomenon which makes the Dolomites South Tyrol unique in the whole world is “enrosadira”, the pink-red colour acquired by these mountains at dawn and at dusk. It happens thanks to the particolar geological composition of the Dolomites rocks. The most important massifs in these mountains are: the Sesto Dolomites, the Sella Group, the Catinaccio and the Tre Cime di Lavaredo.
